The Council of California Goodwill Industries is made up of 13 autonomous Goodwill
organizations operating throughout California and Southern Oregon.

Established in 1970, the Council
pools our member’s expertise, contacts and resources to monitor business trends, influence public policy and raise awareness regarding Goodwill’s
mission, vision, goals, services and programs.
sought to quantify the economic impact of Goodwill within California and worked with Elliott D. Pollack & Company to develop a method and study of calculating the economic and fiscal
impacts of job placements and operations.
Goodwill organizations operating in California participated in the study linked above and a 2012 Economic and Fiscal Impact Study report was developed and publicly released in March 2013.
